Green Apple Shrub


  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large Granny Smith green apples (finely chopped or grated)
  • 1 cup Green Apple Balsamic Vinegar 
  • 1 bottle of sparkling water (San Pellegrino) 
  • 1 bottle Diet 7UP 

Combine the sugar, vinegar and grated apples into a large covered bowl and refrigerate for 4 days before preparing. 

To make in a pinch, another preparation method is to combine the sugar, vinegar and grated apples into a pan and cook on a stove top at a medium temperature for 12 – 15 minutes. 

Fill a glass with ice and add 1/8 cup of the apple mixture. Add 6 ounces of Diet 7 UP and 2 ounces of your favorite sparkling water. 

Serve and enjoy!
